Northeast Georgia Locally Grown
Farmers Markets
VOLUNTEERING AND GIVING
We heavily rely on volunteers and is a project of the Georgia Mountains Farmers Network, a grassroots nonprofit bringing together farmers and customers within a 13-county region since 2010. Our mission is building community around local food and our vision is a thriving local food scene that supports sustainable farms and food access in Northeast Georgia.

HOW IT WORKS
We have in person market sites in Gainesville, Clarkesville, and Clayton, where local farmers are welcome to setup booths from 5-6:30pm.
Approved Farmers can also use the market page to list what they predict will be ready for harvest that week.
The online market option opens for orders on Fridays at 9 p.m. and stays open through the following Monday at 9 p.m.
Farmers harvest and pack your order on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Volunteers organize your pre-orders in a basket with your name and it is ready for pickup at your selected pickup location from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evenings.
Payment for pre-orders is accepted at pickup once you have items in your hands.
For the online preorder system, a $20 annual membership after 3 trial orders and we have a sponsorship fund for those going through financial hardship. No questions asked; Just let us know you would like the Membership fee waived due to financial hardship.
Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us.
Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word.
Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!
